Well, I don't see any correction posted by her, even though I've downloaded
all available posts. (She did clarify her gender, but not the words that she
says will stick in her mind until she dies - "Don't use HTTP.")

So when you said that there was "a correction", I assumed that it was the
common scenario I see on these forums, where someone edits a post, and only
those using a web forum see that edit - of course, since with a NNTP
newsreader, the posts are downloaded to the local hard drive and can't be
edited.

But you say that you are all using actual newsreaders, so where her
"correction" is located is a mystery to me. Not that it matters much, but
just thought I'd clarify what I meant.

Hi Joe. Yes, I'm using Windows Mail on Vista do it appears because this
email address is associated with my MVP ID. (that's the other criteria
........ just using Windows Mail doesn't get the symbol)

Hi Patty. I see the confusion. The Thread title is called "Correction" and
was posted on 6/30 at 11:10. This post was at 11:08 so that's what I meant
when I said she posted a correction a few minutes after this one.

I never use the web-based interface so I don't know how that comes up. I
use Windows Mail (Vista) or Outlook Express when I'm on my other PC
