I am new to computers and have now managed to compile a photostory using
photostory 3. My story has photos and music on it. The problem is that I
cannot seem to transfer it (with the music to a cd which will play on my DVD
in my living room. I think it has something to do with the format but do not
know where I am going wrong. My files seem to transfer to CD but when |I play
it on a DVD the message shows 'no supported files'. I have changed the
settings in photostory 3 to play best on a DVD still with no success.
To date I have wasted 12 CD's trying can anyone give me a step by step
guide.thank you

Your DVD player has to support the format. See what it supports (read the manual).

There are many programs capable of creating
a VCD but Photo Story 3 does not have the
option.

Check the documentation for your burner...
you may have software installed that can
create a VCD. My burner came with a Program
called WinDVD Creator by Intervideo...it
works nicely...and they play on my Toshiba
DVD player.

Here's some info on creating a VCD with
"MS Plus! SuperPack for Windows XP"
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/plus/photos.asp
There are also some sample Photo Stories
you can download.

A couple of other programs with the VCD
option are:

MS Digital Image 2006 Suite

Corel Photo Album 6
