Textbox links keep breaking

I'm making a flow chart in Frontpage, where the elements of the chart are
colored textboxes of specified sizes, and the text in the textbox says what
the item is. I want to link each textbox to a description of that item on a
separate Descriptions page, with a bookmark to the specific definition for
that item. I put the bookmarks in, and say I link a textbox to a bookmark on
the Definitions page called TEST, with the path <Definitions.htm#TEST>, and I
preview it in the browser and it works fine. Then I close FrontPage (changes
saved) and then re-open it, and now the link just says
<%5bu%5dDefinitions.htm>, with no bookmark, and the bookmark no longer works.
I've re-done all the bookmarks several times, and they all disappear every
time I close and re-start FrontPage. Please help!

Something is wrong w/ the way you are entering (or pasting ) your links
Open your FP web,
Open the Definitions.htm page
Open the page you are adding the links to
Insert Hyperlink and browse to and select the Definitions.htm page in the dialog and then select the bookmarks option

Thanks for responding Stefan. But I did that. The other thing I did was to
go to the Code page, copy all the code, paste it into a blank html file
outside of FP, fix the links (with bookmarks), and run the html file, to find
that it worked perfectly. Then I copied that html code, pasted it into the
Code page of a blank FP document, and FP broke all the links again.
