Text ???

I have a Compaq/HP with preinstalled Windows .
A 17 inch Flat screen monitor
Using Windows XP (home)

After receiving a bug and having to format the hard drive,& reinstall
everything,I now find that ALL the texts are very small & blurred.

I have gone to the control pane & adjusted the settings,but it only make the
icons larger.
I am also using Netscape as my browser & for my mail,even the text in here
is too small.

Is there anything that can be done to fix this problem PLEASE

Open IE - click View - Text Size. You can set it from there. Here is how to
do that for windows.

To make your text clearer try here
http://www.microsoft.com/typography/cleartype/tuner/Step1.aspx
To make it larger in OE go to View/Text Size and select the size you prefer.
Also you could go to Start/Help & Support and search for "Text Size"
