I need to make the size of my text larger. I have a new computer and all the
letters are too small. I went under view and couldnt change it.

Display settings> Advanced> large Fonts

But then you might have been meaning some other 'view'

Make you text larger *where*? In what program?

In most applications, you can hold down the Ctrl key and scroll the mouse
wheel. One direction makes it bigger, the other smaller. That's a Windows
standard and works in most, but not all, applications.

Right Click an empty spot on the desktop and select Properties/Settings Tab. In the Screen Resolution section, Move the slider to a lower resolution like 800x600. This will make everything larger.

If this is not what you are looking for, go to the same location and select the Advanced Button. In the Display section, click the DPI Settings drop down menu and select Large Size-120DPI. This will increase the text size only.

I am trying to start a new thread but cannot seem to find where. All the
writing on the internet has suddenly become very small. I can hardly read the
questions. Can anyone suggest why

Please try using a proper newsreader if you have trouble with the
quirky web interface you are using.

If you want to change text size, then change it in IE-View-Text Size
