Text size problems

Since installing a webcam and experimenting with
increasing size of pictures I find everything has been on
my computer has increased in size and I cannot return
things to normal.When I go to Settings, display, general
I can click on Normal size but this returns to the "large
size" when I close down.Any ideas what I am failing to do
please.

Try clicking View at the top and choose Text size in both OE and IE.
