I have set up a master slide and it has up to 5 levels of text size, each
with a different bullet shape.

Now I am creating a presentation but do not know how I get from the first
level to the second (and third etc.)?

I have tried holding the Ctrl, Shift and Alt keys but am at a lost how to
get them. The only way I have managed it is to copy and paste it from the
Master Slide itself and I am sure there must be an easier way.

Thanks,

Noel

Noel,
Just hit the tab key for every level lower and shift+tab key for a higher
level.
Cheers

Well....

depends on the version - after moving to ppt 2002 the tab doesn't always
work and shift tab never works

on the formatting bar you can click the increase indent and decrease
indent buttons - this will pick up the formatting from the master slide

Odd. It's always worked exactly this way in every version from 3 to 2003 (wow
... I've been using PPT for 2000 versions?)

It may depend on where the "focus" is in 2002 and on, what with the task panes
and such.
