Text in a table

I have a form with text in a single cell table, so I can control how is sits on the page. I have three sets of text: "Name" "Email" "Phone" to the left of the text box to collect that data. I want to line up the text boxes directly under each other. "Tab" does not work in the box and pressing the "space" key does not do it. I could go to a 'fixed space font' like courier, but that does not look good. Is there a way to set a tab and/or use a tab in the cell?

Create a 2 column table for your form fields and labels and use cell alignments
