text form field

Hi,
I have a form that we use that has a "details" area where multiple lines of
text can be filled in. However, we already have all 7 lines present for when
the form is printed and filled in manually. Is there any way to merge the
lines together, so that our people who will fill out the form electronically
can continue to type onto the next line with out inserting another line and
pushing the form onto two pages?

Thank you

Put the field in a fixed-size container (table cell or frame) to set a size
for what can be entered. What you are talking about is what Word calls an
"online form." Check this in help. For more about online forms, follow the
links at http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or

Chapman's series of articles. You may also want to look at

Hope this helps,
