Text fields in IE 6 appear to be locked

I have a computer running xp pro with IE6 installed. The
a few days ago when I was trying to fill out an order
form the text entry fields all became locked. I reloaded
the page with same results. I went to other webpages
using my favorite button and I was unable to type in text
fields. When I tried to type a website url in the
address space of the browser it was also locked. So I
cannot type anything into IE6. Any clues? I have
uninstalled the browser and reloaded with same results.

I had this problem, caused by JS Exploit Virus. So try a virus check. You
should also check for Spyware.
There are many posts which can advise on source of Virus and Spyware
software, mostly free.
