Text editor update - Legacy Pad Lite 1.0.8

Woah! Lots of updates in the past week, but I won't have
to post so many of them in newsgroups anymore because I
added a "Check for update" menu command under Help. If you
have Internet access (I don't!), you will be able to
check for a new version of this editor with one click of
the mouse. I'm not anticipating the next update to be ready
for at least a week.

I don't have access at home.
I have to drive up to my college.
It's inconvenient and it prevents me from
being able to get updates posted as quickly
as they might otherwise be. The college is
only open at certain times, and it costs me
gas money to drive there.

Well, if you used telekinesis then you wouldn't need gas money either.

Whoa - your price for comercial Legacy Pad is "The Price is $100" a
bit steep for a text editor that seems no better than many commercial
ones for half the cost or less.
You state "I need money to cover a variety of expenses". Who
doesn't.?

Glad somebody had the guts to post that, I looked, and did a complete
double take.

$100 - for a text editor? (on CD) - never mind a CD, I'd be expecting
retail boxed and telephone helpline for that!
Maybe we'll find it's a misprint.

I am unable to post a response to the messages below for some reason,

I will not discuss the price of any software in a freeware newsgroup.

promoting a freeware application. There is no price to
discuss, the software is free!
