Text converter

Powerpoint can't read the outline from .ppt. No text converter is installed
for this file type.

I'm getting this message when i try and open a ppt file, i can't figure it out

What do you mean by an "outline?" What format is the file that you're trying
to open?

That's the error message i get when i try opening it - i suspect the file has
been compressed/corrupted in some way. I have since been sent the file from
another source and it is 9Mb, whereas the original file i was trying to open
was 598K.

I'm afraid this probably means that your PPT file's corrupted and can no longer
be opened. Do you have a backup file?

That's what i thought too, luckily i got the uncompressed file from another
source - thanks for your responses
