We have a Word XP document that contains text boxes and images. On 4 out of
5 computers, this document is only 1 page. However, on one pc it is 2 pages
long. We have repaired Word, changed margins, but nothing helps. Has anyone
had this happen before and if so, what can we do so this person doens't have
to edit each document?

Thanks

Is that person running a different printer driver than the others?
See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/TextReflow.htm.

This is a network printer, so the drivers weren't actually installed to that
pc, but he is the only one mapped to that particular printer. Would that
still cause the problem?

The problem is that different printer drivers (sometimes even different
versions of the same driver) supply different character spacing values for
the "same" text. Word uses that information to do its page layout, so wider
spacing can cause lines to wrap differently; in turn, an extra line can
cause the page to break differently.

Try pointing that one PC to the same network printer as the others. If that
solves the problem, probably that particular document will always have to be
sent to that printer.
