Text Boxes and Powerpoint Viewer

Hi guys,

I have some control text boxes in a presentation that have vertical scroll
bars in. While these work fine when I run the presentation from Powerpoint
but when i package the presentation for a cd and watch it using PP Viewer
these scroll bars are not there.

Is this normal? If so, is there a work around?

Yes. It's not because of puting the presentation on CD but it's the result of
using the viewer to play the presentation.

The viewer doesn't support VBA macros or Active-X controls; your text boxes
with scrollbars are Active-X controls. All you get in the viewer is a static
picture rather than a working control.

In order for Active-X controls to be ... um ... Active ... you have to view the
presentation in PPT.
