It is not clear what you are trying to do. You can lock the document (more
or less successfully) to prevent people from editing it. On the other hand,
if you are referring to the "normal" layout changes which may occur when a
document is opened on another computer, see http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/TextReflow.htm.
