TEXT BOX IN A TEXT BOX

B

Big Bad John

In Word 2007, I have a large text box.
I want to put another text box within the larger one, with the text in the
larger one wrapping around the smaller one. Formatting the text wrapping of
the smaller box does not make the text in the larger box wrap around it, it
goes behind, no matter how you set the wrapping style. Some wrapping styles
even send the smaller text box behind the larger one making it disappear
completely, despite it having being 'brought to front' in 'order'.

You cannot place one text box into another. The closest you can get is
grouping them together. Alternatively, place the two text boxes inside a
drawing canvas.

Good point.

You could use a table for the larger text box, or two tables with text
wrapping for the the inner one set to around.
