Text box as Hyperlink

I want to create a coloufilled text box that will act as a
hypelink. However, the whilst the text in the text box
works fine as a link, the actual surrounding box does not.

It seems to create two different links, with the one for
the surrounding box being linked back to my hard drive
rather than just to the file within the website. This
ultimately means that people using the site cannot always
get through to the linked file/page.

What can be done?!
 
Use a image instead, which will allow the link to work for everyone.
