Text and Image in Cell

[Paull]

I want to create a page where I can have a picture of an artist
and his bio wrapping around the left side of the image extending
to the bottom of the image. I tried doing it with tables but I'm
having problems. I can't seem to fit the text and image together
in one cell. How can I get the results that I want???

here's one a client sent. obviously I won't be replicating it for her any

Nice example, just what I want. Now tell me how it's done. I copied and
pasted the example at the bottom of the page but when I tried to paste
my text into it the image went away. When I type it in the image just
kept moving down. HELP!

Did you read the burgundy text of above the examples, which explain briefly what is required?

I work with Image Composer, so I can't provide any type of instructions for users any other image
editor applications.

If the image went away when you pasted then you had the image selected
and you deleted it as you pasted. Make sure your cursor is beside the
image and you do not have the little selection handles on the sides
of it and you will do better.

You also need to set the alignment on the image. Right click,choose
Picture Properties, and under alignment choose "left" or "right".
This is what causes the text to flow next to the picture rather than
above or below the picture.

You could also mess around with float to get similar effects without tables
and use CSS to add captions/border etc - only issue is NN4 doesn't like
margins around floated elements but every other browser would be fine.
