Testing HP DeskJet 870Cxi without color cartridge

Hi,

does anyone know how to test a HP DeskJet 870Cxi without the
colorcartridge installed. I've got a black inkcartridge. I want to test
it without having to buy a new inkcartridge, probably for nothing. I
doen't have an empty cartridge eather. So if anyone knows a smart trick,
I would be delaighted.

Sorry, you will need a #41 cartridge to test this printer. The color cartridge
does not need to have ink but it does need to be electrically present.
