Testing hardware compatibility with XP

I am preparing to install Windows XP Pro on my PC
(currently on Win98). Is there a tool I can use to check
all the hardware for compatibility before I upgrade?

Yes, there is a compatibility checker on the XP CD which you can select when
you insert the disk. Also you can find it on the MS website if you don't
have the CD yet.
