I'm doing about 20,000 miles a year so want something big and safe. Volvo's are fun too.

To be honest most Volvos are built like tanks, but there are other makes that are as good.
It's all down to personnel preferences, i recently looked at the Subaru Forrester, but mainly as it has 4x4 drive.
