Yep, I think we've all known that the "free" services we get are never really free at all. "No such thing as a free lunch" goes back many years.

I remember some company, a few years back, anounced that they owned the souls of about 500 people. As a joke, they incorporated a clause stating that anyone who signed their agreement, or ticked the box, had to give their soul to the company. Of couse, no-one ever reads every clause, or even any of the clauses, before ticking or signing.

It was quite funny but very scary. :D

It was Gamestation (i think) in the UK. That quote is mentioned in this program. It was published on their website and lasted 24hours
