Terminal services and changing mode

T

Todd Paulson

We have added another remote administrator to our group,
three, and since we all have to share responsibilities on
the same server I guess we have to switch from Remote
Admin to Application server mode.

Yes, we need three concurrent sessions at one time so how
involved is it to switch to Application server mode?

Buy a five pack of TS licensing?
How do you switch to application mode?
Once that is done I add Terminal Service licensing applet
within Add/remove Windows components?
Add the remote TS client for the third Admin

Then can we access the server like it was in Remote mode?
We do not need to install apps but just support the server.

Any other things I may have missed just let me know.

Thank you,

Todd

Buy your licences and add the licensing server. You'll need to uninstall TS
and reinstall it to change modes.
