Terminal Service Installation

Hi,

I had installed Terminal Service on a Windows 2000 Server
machine and it was working fine. However, recently I am
unable to log on to that machine. I checked my Services
list and I was unable to find Terminal Server in my
Services list. Also, when I go to Terminal Services
manager I see the message "You could not be authenticated
on this server" even though I am logged on as
Administrator. Reinstalling Terminal Server also didn't
help.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any help on this bizarre
behavior would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob ([email protected])

What has changed since the server worked correctly
Anythiong in the system or application event logs that date back to the time the trouble began
Was the server in Remote Administration or Application Server Mode
If in AS Mode, did you have an activated Terminal Services License Service running on a DC
Do you have a reliable backup
