Terminal Server Licensing Application

I am losing it.
Does amyone out there understand the terminal services
licensing app?

We have 60 licenses. According to MS we are to install
the licensing application. We want this (as recommended)
on a seperate server other that the application server.
This is a stand alone backup server. It STILL asks you if
you want Remote admin mode or application server mode.WE
WANT NEITHER! This box is NOT a terminal server and will
never be. Someone in another newsgroup said don't install
the license manager, it's useless!! How can that be? We
are currently not able to logon new TS users.
Please help...as all of the MS KB docs say...First,
install the license manager!! None say what options to
choose for a standalone server, not to mention if you
choose one of the options, it starts warning that you may
need to re-install this long list of apps! Give me a
break.

There's no need to install the "Terminal Services" component at all on the
License Server, if you don't want remote connections.
