hello,
i have a windows 2003 server which i Configured as terminal server and
licensing server.
is a member of a domain (everything works on win 2003 server), installed 35
licenses, activated and set up for per device. the rest of the servers
connect to the licensing server with no problem.
but, in the terminal server licensing under win server 2003 the 35
licenses are shown as not applicable.
i have reactivate the licenses, but still the same.
i can connect with the thin clients but i think the licenses im receiving
are temporary.
what should i do?
thank you.

If the licenses show up in TS Licensing Manager as N/A, they are Per
user licenses, not Per Device. Then your Terminal Server must also
use the Per User licensing mode.

i will try it and see, cause i think that i changed before and didnt work but
im not sure.

the terminal server is set as per user mode. but still not applicable.
from other posts that i have read, it shows that because the licenses are
unmanaged will show n/a, but can i confirm that the permanent licenses are
issued or will take over after the 120 days period is over?

As I wrote, Per User licenses are always listed as N/A. That won't
change.
You have already ended the 120 days grace period. That ended when
you activated the TS Licensing Server.
If your TS is configured to use the Per User licensing mode,
everything should be fine.
The only thing which would indicate a problem is when you see in
the TS Licensing Manager that all of your clients are issued
Temporary Per *Device* Licenses. But that doesn't seems to be the
case.

Keep an eye on the EventLog on the Terminal Server, but unless it
records licensing problems, it seems to me that everything is
functioning as it should.
