Temporary Internet Files

After deleting all temporary internet files during the
disk cleanup process, why do the "temporary internet
files properties" show 45MB (250 files/13 folders) still
on my hard drive??
When I opened both the hidden files/folders + protected
operating system files, none of the reported 45MB of
temporary internet files were visible.
A search for other temporary internet files elsewhere on
my hard drive yielded no results.
I need the 45MB of extra storage space.
What do you suggest ??
Thanx

Run disk cleanup again but this time when the select screen comes up high light the temp. files and click view. Double click on each folder and delete everything. X out and finish running disk cleanup.

Oneheli's suggestion should work.

But frankly if 45 megs of disk space are that scarce on your system,
you should consider getting a second hard drive.
