Temporary Internet Files won't delete

My cookies delete just fine, but when I try to delete my temporary internet files the window freezes and has to close. I've tried deleting manually from the file folder, but none of the files end up in the recycle bin, they just disappear. Why is this happening, and how can I fix it?

This is normal. Nothing to fix. As long as they disappear from the list,
they're gone. (I always delete these files this way. It's *so* much faster!)
