Hi Everyone,
This is my first post to this newsgroup. I need to find
out information to the following questions. Any answers
would be greatly appreciated. If there are articles that
support some of these questions, please include them. I
am primarily concerned with IE 6.0 on XP. Thanks you for
your help.
Here are my questions:
- What is the default setting for caching Internet files
in the browser upon loading it on the machine?
- What parameters are available for caching internet
files in the browser (ie - will it ever go back out to
the server to get a new file, if so when?)
- Does the Temporary Interent Files cache get cleared
when it reaches a certain size limit or date?
- How has the caching changed from Internet Version 4 to
Version 6?
