TempMSysAccessObjects - Help!!

K

Katlyn

I was trying to compact my database like I do after any
major enhancements, but this time it told me I have cannot
because TempMSysAccessObjects already exist!

I looked in my backend and sure enough, there are two
Tables in the relations screen. One is
TBLMsysAccessStorage, the other TBLMsysAccessStorage_1.
They do not show up on the Tables screen and I cannot
delete them.

Has anyone any experience with this? And what did you do?

I sure need some help with this one.

TIA,
Katlyn

Scary - I'm having a similar problem right now.

You can view the MSys tables by going to Tools > Options
View, then checking the System Objects box. Once
you've done that, you can view the MSys tables in the
database window.

There's a Knowledge Base article on the problem
called "PRB: "Table 'TempMSysAccessObjects' Already
Exists" Error Message May Occur While Using the Compact
and Repair Database Utility." I'm sorry I haven't got
the address, but you could try searching on that title
and that should be able to help you.

Good luck
