I need to distribute (by e-mail) a drawing 5x5"(13x13cm). The drawing
has to be printed lifesize.

How do I best make sure it's actually being printed lifesize? I was
thinking of embedding the drawing in a *.pdf file, is that the way to
go? Would a *.gif file?

This is maybe more like a software issue, I don't know, but I got to
start somewhere.

TIA

By setting the ppi setting to create a 5x5" it will be embedded in the
images header and this is what the printer uses to fix the dimension's.
Of course the user could alter it if they wanted just like anything else
