Templates and add-ins

I am trying to clean my word 2,002 document of multiple on necessary styles.
When I click tools and plus ten plus and advance, I get a message that
"templates and add ANC is not available at this time." how can I make this
feature available? Is there any other way to select multiple styles for
deletion?
 
I'm afraid your question doesn't make much sense to me, starting with how
you're using the menu, and I've never heard of a menu item not being
available. Even if it were, however, you would not be able to delete styles
through that dialog specifically, though you might be able to through the
Organizer, which is accessible from that dialog; it is also accessible from
Format | Style.
