Template : works on isolated PC - fails on work-lan PCs

Hi,

have designed at home a template for Word XP-2k2. Very simple template :
- logo
- header on first page only
- left-side frame with names & phone numbers for the members of our unit

At home works perfectly

At work, on all PCs when I hit ctrl-enter to create a new page, the
left-sided frame moves to next page ( no more on page one)

There is a global template on a workgroup template folder, but that one only
holds styles and auto-insertions, no macros nor toolbars

Changing in Word the path to this global templates to an empty folder
doesn't change behaviour of Word regarding my problem.
Same if I delete the normal.dot on each PC

So it does not seem to be "other templates"-related

Any idea ?
Some setting in Word ?
"Hidden" templates ( at least places I am not aware of ?)

How can I trace down the problem ?

TIA mucho to all !

Put your frame in your first-page header. (I know it is outside of the
header area, that's OK.) I use textboxes, but frames are probably better.

Take a look at: How to set up letterhead or some other document where you
want one header on the first page and a different header on other pages.
http://www.addbalance.com/word/headersfooters.htm This gives step-by-step
instructions. (It also has the following links)
