Hi-
I'm on FP 2003, Win XP Pro, Pent 4. I've got a template
audio page, upon which I've made a size change of the
height in pixels for cells in a table (I also changed the
table height to match the new cell(s) height). The
template changes ok and when I save it, it asks 'would I
like to update the 32 attached files?'. I click 'Yes' and
I even see the green-dotted processing bar run its
course, and so it seems like all the attached pages have
indeed been updated. But when I check the pages out, they
have the old table/cell height settings.
I even published the site again, just to see what would
happen and sure enough, I saw all the audio pages get
updated as if the change was being processed. But no real
change happened. If you need to see what the table is
about, the url for one of the audio pages is:
It's the table that has song titles and corresponding
links '14k - 56k - Dsl/Cbl' to play the audio clips. I
appreciate any help. I may be doing/not doing something
so stupid & obvious. Thanks for your help,...Brightbelt

Hi-
I thought I should post the changed settings etc I'm
going for: the original table/cells had a table height of
240 pixels with cells 30 pixels high. The CHANGED/updated
table has a table height of 280 pixels with cells 35
pixels high. But the table/cells do not seem to be
changing. Thanks,...Brightbelt

Hi Stefan-
Yes I saved the web page (and template) after changes.
The web page (after changes) previews in the browser with
the old table settings, so it's not coming thru there
either. The template previews Ok in the browser (it's the
body of a page so the shared border doesn't preview. The
new table does come thru in the preview for the template
though). I'm stumped, so any ideas would be very welcome.
Thanks for your help,...Brightbelt

Hi Stefan-
I thought I'd add some perhaps useful info - before I
was trying to change cell/table height sizes (in pixels)
and nothing happened - still no progress there. (I have a
disk-based web and tried the Http method also). I have
just now tried OTHER changes on my templates (eg,
different alignment of photos in table cells) just to
experiment and the pages DO get updated correctly. So
maybe this has something more to do with FP's handling of
tables than the templates per se ? I don't know, but
thought I'd offer this info. Thanks,...Brightbelt

FP does not treat table differently in DWT
The table must be in a Non editable region for the DWT to adjust it
If the table is in an Editable region of the DWT, you need to open all the pages and edit the editable regions

Ah Ha. That's the difference. I just started to work with
templates again recently after a long absence. Thank you
for the re-education,...Brightbelt
