Template to act as a tickler for contracts expiration dates?

I am wondering if Access has a template that will work as a tickler system so
that I can track by date when contacts expire. I need to system that will
alert me when a contract is about to expire. The template would need to be
able to hold over 1,000 records.

I am using Microsoft Access 2003
