Hi there.

How can I protect Word templates on a network share from being modified by
users? (read only file permission is not robust enough)

Is there a folder level permission that will work but still allow the
templates to be accessed?

Many thanks

Tim

But if you start with a template and do *anything* to it, it's modified,
isn't it?

Thanks JoAnn.

Template Administrators will have full rights to modify templates, but
template users must not be able to modify the template. We are trying to
define the Filesystem permissions that users will need to be able to run
the
template but not modify it. This is required for quality assurance.

Kind regards

Tim
