Template mobility

If I were to download a template on my home computer, save my presentation on
a disk, and open it on a school computer for editing, would them template be
there or woul I have to download it onto the school computer I work on?

Yes, if you save a file to disk it should be there when you open on another
computer.

If your presentation is based on the template you downloaded, then you don't
have anything to worry about.

Once you've created a presentation, it contains everything it needs; the
template doesn't have to go with it (and in fact the template is contained
within it).
