I have created some templates in Word 2002 that make my job easier. Is it
possible to put them under one of the other tabs in the Templates dialog box?
All of them default to the General tab. I have some that are letters, some
are letters, etc.

TIA,
Annie

Create a sub-folder in the Templates folder and move your templates into it.
The folder will appear as a new tab.

And if you want them to appear on one of the existing tabs, give your
subfolder the same name as the one that is on the tab.

And if you want them under one of the existing tabs, give your sub folder
the name of the tab in question.

Yes, put them in folders in your user templates folder with the appropriate
names. For more on the different kinds of templates, tabs on the file new
dialog, and locations of templates folders see
