Template location

I want to set up a workgroup template folder so that everyone can use them. I
cannot find a method similar to the procedure for Word. How can I direct
Powerpoint to show them? Thanks.
 
So there is no option for a work group folder?

None that I know of, but another possibility:

Create a workgroup folder on a shared drive and put at least one template (POT)
file in it

Put a shortcut to that folder in each user's local Templates folder.
