Template form with protection

I am designing a Change Control Form with mutliple types of user edited
fields. For example the user must enter their name and the date. For these
fields I am using MACROBUTTON AcceptAllChangesInDoc "[Click and enter
requestor name]" and MACROBUTTON AcceptAllChangesShown "[Click.Enter Date]"
.. On another area of the form I have a drop-down box for the user to select
the name of an approver. I also have several "Check Boxes". When I trun ON
Form Protect the drop down boxes and the check boxes function. But, the
MACTOBUTTONs do not. I can't click and enter text in these fields. How do I
get this combination of fields to work in my Form Template?

You can insert Continuous Section Breaks on either side of them and when you
click "Tools", "Protect Document", for "Forms", click the Sections button
and don't include that section. If you're not sure what section it is,
place your cursor in that area and the Section number should appear at the
bottom left in the Status Bar.

Or, instead of using MacroButton fields, you could use text form fields that
run a macro on exit.
