Hi where are the temporary internet files kept in xp?

The default location is Documents and Settings\<user>\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files. This is a hidden folder. For it to be
visible in Windows Explorer, adjust Folder Options> View to show hidden
files and folders.

Wherever the value Cache in th registry key
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell
Folders
points to.

Or, in IE, look at
Tools/Internet Options.../General: Temporary Internet
files:Settings...
