hoping someone could assist me. recently switched from 98
to xp due to upgrading. installed by computer fix it
person and not purchased in store as new so i am very
unfamilar on how it works other than for immediate needs.
problem is that i'm trying to open up free space and
looking to try to delete temporary internet files like i
did with 98. unfortunately the search for files by run to
search doesnt work near the same and couldnt do it(i'm
alittle slow with compters!). could you possibly outline
steps to achieve this in xp and also any other avenue for
opening up free space??

thanks so much

Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, Disk Cleanup. You may also want to
Defrag.

Oops, forgot one step. After Accessories click System Tools, then Disk
Cleanup.
