Hi

Am I doing the right thing when I delete cookies and files in the Temp.

yes. cookies can sometimes be bad if you do not practice
safe surfing with a full firewall and spyware killers. ad's
popup and such

They need clearing out now & again.

How much disk space have you allocated for the TIF folder? Open Internet
Explorer and go to Tools>Internet Options>Settings... I've allowed 50 MBs
for Temporary Internet Files, which personnally, I find is enough.
