If I download something off the net and quit part way
through, where does that partially downloaded file go.
How can I get rid of that stuff. Is there a folder that
stores this stuff. How can I look at my cookies is there
a way. If I look in windows at my cookies folder it
always just seems to show one little tiny file in there.

thanks

Mike

Temp files are here and can be deleted safely:
C:\Documents and Settings\your user name here\Local Settings\Temp
(this is a hidden folder so you have to have hidden folders set to show)

Cookies folder is here:
C:\Documents and Settings\your user name here\Cookies
(this folder can be cleared manually or in IE's internet options)

If you have not already said where to put it, it will be put in
Temporary Internet files. In Control Panel, Internet Options, in the
middle of the General page, click the Settings button, then View Files.
If you want one, you can drag it out from there to safety. Or you can
delete individual files, or clear the lot out with Delete Files at the
outer level
