Temp file

I would often click run>temp and delete the files in this temp folder. Is it
the same with Vista?

How do you delete the cookies in Vista?

Thanks

Use the disk cleanup utility to delete temporary files. Its done teh same
way in Windows Vista as was done in Windows XP

Try CCleaner (CrapCleaner) ver 1 38.485 from
http://www.ccleaner.com/download/

The program is free but the fellow is not adverse to accepting donations if
you like his program. It works fine in Vista. Choose your options as you see
fit.

Do not use prior to shutdown. If there are files in the temp folders waiting
to be executed (because you installed new software) they will be deleted.
Run CCleaner after you boot the computer. The files will have then
accomplished what was intended.

Have you tried this? I don't think this is still relevant with Vista and
IE7. There seem to be two different Cookie folders now, and I cannot
understand it.

Start > Run > Shell:Cookies seems to bring up only session cookies for me.

Anybody care to explain?

Thanks! Its so easy when you know how. I just found my little dancing girl,
who's now buried several layers deep.
