Temp Contacts

Whilst Using Outlook 2003 we all know that when ever we enter an email
address its stored in a tmp file somewhere as when ever we go and press the
first letter of the email address it brings it up out of memory.

I have currently reinstalled my pc and i knew straight after i had pressed
the F key to format id lose all my tmp contact names. Yes you may say i
should of added them all to my contacts but i just never did.

Does anyone know where outlook or windows keeps these temp files as i did
backup my actual documents and settings folder before hand as i know its
profile based.

I have tried copying the Files from

C:\documents and settings\user\application data\microsoft\outlook
C:\documents and settings\user\local settings\application
data\microsoft\outlook

But unfortunatly that did'nt work either.

So if anyone could tell me you would be a life saver!!

It's kept in a file called "outlook.NK2". For Vista, it's kept in
"c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook". If you have XP,
it's in the equivalent folder (don't remember anymore...but it's likely
one of the folders you mentioned above). If you can't see it, you may
have system files hidden and you'll have to enable viewing system/hidden
files.
