Can anybody tell me how to tell the Windows Firewall to accept an IP Address
of another Computer so that files and folders can be read over a Home Network

Open the Windows Firewall, click the Exceptions tab, and make sure the File
and Printer Sharing checkbox is checked. That should do the trick.

Have checked and checkbox on both computers was already checked. Still
unable to access files and folders on the XP when using the Vista. When
using XP can access files and folders on the Vista
