Tell me why!

I showed 3.15 gb free space on my hard drive, I deleted
my temp files and it changed to 3.16 gb. I uninstalled a
16mb program and it changed to 3.14 gb. Can you tell me
why?
 
Did you also empty the recycle bin after all these deletes? Remember,
deleted stuff stays here till you empty it.

Unless you, by chance, SHIFT+DEL'd it.
