if you have a headset that has a microphone on it can you
use you pc as a phone? I mean if the phone line is
connected to the pc and you have the headset and if you
have all of you numbers in the windows adress bokk can you
use that as a regular phone, because on my computer it
gives the option to call the person from the computer and
I was just wondering if you could use the headset and the
computer as a telephone for the calls that are in the
windows adress book, and if so how would I go about
hooking the phone line up because I have two phone line
jacks in the back of my computer, a regular one and an
ethernet one, please help me out, thanks.

sincerly,
ted

If you have a voice modem, you can do it. Typically you have to plug the
headset into the modem instead of the sound card, but with some setups it works
either way. Your modem should have come with some telephone/answering machine
software that will do it.
