telephone line security

I am finding long distance calls on my bill which have
not been made by me. I have had the line checked by
local phone company and line is clear of any improper
crossconnects. Can my computer, which runs Windows XP, be
misused by an outsider to place calls without my
knowledge?
 
proly a trojan dialer . . .
Run your anti-virus and a spyware cleaner like LavaSoft AdAware or SpyBot
